Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Hourly Rate: $18.00

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with possible OT.

Role Summary
Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Inventory Specialist for our Exeter, PA location. The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for all inventory control-related activities. As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, you will develop the location's inventory management strategy, intending to control costs within budgetary limits, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize available working capital.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory, including stock and stock locations.
  • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks
  • Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
  • Ensure that the good inward/ stock control department is well-organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and business goals
  • Ensure incoming product is received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
  • Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
  • Provide routine management information on inventory performance
  • Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs, and maximize working capital.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Six months+ of warehouse-related experience
  • General knowledge and ability to perform relatively simple work using basic arithmetic.
  • Must be able to recognize bin-numbered locations.
  • Must be able to work in cooperation with others.
  • Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift certification

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Individuals may be constantly on their feet, except when operating machinery.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Must be able to tolerate high and low-temperature levels.
  • Must be able to tolerate a moderately loud work environment.
